Binary package hint: libapache2-mod-php5
After installing the 5.2.1-0ubuntu1.5 security updates for feisty, the
PHP session handler seems to be causing segfaults when accessing
phpmyadmin.
apache2 is logging lots of:

I've run strace on php5-cli (as www-data user) and the output of that
seems to indicate the segfault occurs after PHP opens a file in the
sessions directory, /var/lib/php5. Trace is attached.
The permissions on that directory are:
drwx-wx-wt 2 root root 20480 2007-11-30 16:09 /var/lib/php5/
Downgrading to libapache2-mod-php5 5.2.1-0ubuntu1.4 makes the segfault
not occur.
