Public bug reported:

Wenn i try to compile something i get:

Selected target format 'elf32-i386' unknown: Invalid bfd target

I can't even run an configure script, because it tries to compile some
piece of code to check default output file name.

objdump --help gives:

objdump: supported targets: elf32-i386 a.out-i386-linux efi-app-ia32
elf32-little elf32-big elf64-x86-64 efi-app-x86_64 elf64-little elf64-big srec
symbolsrec tekhex binary ihex trad-core
objdump: supported architectures: i386 i386:x86-64 i8086 i386:intel
i386:x86-64:inte

Asked on some forums, was told it might be a bug. Is it one?
