Also, sorry but I failed to notice earlier that you're using 18.04 so
have an older version of libinput (1.10.4). Would you be able to live
boot Ubuntu 19.04 (http://cdimages.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/) and
tell us if that (libinput 1.12.6) has the same bug?
