Public bug reported: This replicated in 18.10, 19.04 and 19.10.
If I suspend the laptop by turning the lid of, or by #echo mem > /sys/power/state The nvme disk I have: # nvme list Node SN Model Namespace Usage Format FW Rev ---------------- -------------------- ---------------------------------------- --------- -------------------------- ---------------- -------- /dev/nvme0n1 03F107951E4452173098 Sabrent 1 1.02 TB / 1.02 TB 512 B + 0 B ECFM12.2 Make it to fails= the resume process. Everything works fine while plugged in. If in battery it fails to resume (attached dmesg file). It gets stuck into the desktop but it's dysfunctional without disk operation. If I suspend in battery mode and then resume (dysfunctionally) and then plug in the power supply the disk resumes perfectly and everything comes back to normal. ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Attachment added: "Dmesg" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1861595/+attachment/5324737/+files/bugbatterysyspend.txt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1861595 Title: Laptop does not resume after suspend.
