This should be fixed in the current version in hardy now. The default
size is increased now.

Nevermind, I thought that it was actually something on the installer,
not the language selector that one can find from the System menu after
installation. It indeed is there like that, and is very confusing.

Can you please be more specific on where this happens. Also, are you
using the Ubuntu version, or Kubuntu/Xubuntu/something else to install
ubuntu?
