Public bug reported: Upstream dropped Bitstream Vera fonts, please apply that fix in the Ubuntu package.

Besides, the Bitstream Vera font is very obsolete, looks worse than DejaVu and sometimes as a negative side effect it takes over as a default font when installed (without DejaVu).
