I don't think that's a good policy. It isn't happening. It's in your
interests to reduce the number of patches that you have to apply.

This patch is really important to support key code recording in gnome-
lirc-properties (see LP 192368). The patch sent upstream on 2008-02-13,
but it seems Christoph Bartelmus doesn't have the time to apply it yet.
