Same problem for me on Natty. I have a usb pen drive that emulates a CD-ROM drive that gives this message. After ejecting the drive the flood stops, but no usb drive is automatically recognized anymore, you have to mount them manually or reboot the system. VERY BAD BUG! Matteo -- You

This affects me on 11.04. Even worse, it also affects those pesky usb thumb drives that for some reason also emulates a CD-ROM drive, rendering the entire drive unusable until you eject the emulated CD- ROM drive. Shouldn't there be a time factor in deciding importance of bugs? Seeing as this one

I can confirm and reproduce this bug on Lucid 32bit. 1. Boot Ubuntu 2. Insert DVD 3. Remove DVD by pushing the hardware button on the DVD-ROM 4. Inserting another DVD triggers the bug. I can get rid of it by restarting Ubuntu If I click on the eject-Button in Nautilus instead the hardware

I got this too on Ubuntu Karmic 9.10. I stopped the message flood just by clicking eject on the dvd icon that was still in Nautilus although there was no DVD in the drive. I wouldn't have noticed it if I hadn't been looking for another error in the logs. I don't think it makes any sense for this
