This seems to be a problem of the ATI fglrx-driver 1:7.1.0-8-3+2.6.24.11-12.31 I am using. The glest forum (www.glest.org) knows many problems with ATI drivers... With the open source driver, it works. But as there is no 3d acceleration, it is quite unusable. -- [Hardy]Glest crashes with
