Public bug reported: My IDE drive (/dev/hda) is not being detected after I updated to hardy beta from gutsy. I have gone back and run gutsy live to make sure something else didn't happen during upgrade and I am still able to mount it in Gutsy. The drive is not listed by fdisk -l. There is on partition (/dev/hda1 which is NTFS) on the drive. My guess is that it is a kernel module that is being loaded in gutsy and not hardy but i'm not sure. I have a attached a diff of the modules listed by lsmod from the gutsy live cd and hardy.
