This has just happened to me when I was trying to report a bug about a
hang on suspend from resume in Jaunty (fully updated as of Mar 7 2009).
I'll be more than happy to provide more information if someone tells me

An update on this issue.
I had a new installation of Ubuntu 7.04 without updates. After I posted this
bug I decided to try updating the OS again just to see if it would work. It
did. I´m thinking that the bug was generated in the Gutsy installation I had on
before I reinstalled Feisy onto I
