Black rectangle instead of image in FF3 [Hardy]

This is reproducible in a fresh instance of Firefox:
1. Run firefox.
2. Browse straight to this bug report.
3. Middle-click on the link to the image so that it opens in a new tab.
4. Switch to the new tab. The image will be displayed corrupt.
