Thanks for your report.
The menu File - History shows all the actions done with synaptic. Does
it suit your needs ?
Alice opens File - History:
1rst case: She remembers the day of the action. She opens the tree end read the
actions of that day.
2nd case: She remembers part of the package name.
This would be a really nice feature.
