I consider this two bugs: 1) The clock applet actually shows the correct time until I leave KUbuntu settings. So, I am lead to believe I have set the time to local time. 2) If you wish to re-assign the bug, that's fine, but I should not have had to fix /etc/localtime. -- /etc/timezone not
