By the way, Wine depends on winbind because it needs ntlm_auth at runtime for some functions (otherwise networking gets disabled). It started doing this around 0.9.60ish in the other packages from WineHQ, which were ported to Intrepid (unfortunately the changelog was not copied, instead I just

The upstream changelog being missing apparently isn't a bug - as I'm sure you know it was seen fit to disable upstream changelog installations for most of the archive to make more space on the CD. The Debian changelog should be there. ** Changed in: wine (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided = Low
