one which simply has not been updated to the new protocol yet. Once it is,
everyone using the just use this other server method will be in trouble.

I was having this issue while the plug-in MusicTracker was installed.
Thinking back to this issue, the problem started after MusicTracker
right after was installed and resolved itself after MusicTracker was
removed.
Please investigate toward this plug in as there are other bugs which may

I found that is a problem with yahoo server. The same is with kopete and
Ghyaci, also in SUSE or Fedora.
Go to pidgin - Yahoo, Manage acounts, then in tab Advance and in Page server
put this- ,,Page server:66.163.181.189 save and restart Pidgin
It will conect faster without problems.
