using xubuntu ibex alpha 6 on an acer aspire one laptop/nettop.
Previously, in Ubuntu 8.04, taping a finger on the touchpad functioned
easily and intuitively as a click. Now it usually does not register.
This is a major annoyance and possibly a problem with the touchpad
settings or driver defaults.
