I see in dmesg that thinkfinger is trying to do that by creating a virtual input device and sending an Enter keycode through it. This used to work in Hardy. It still works in a text console in Intrepid, but doesn't work in X. -- regression (hardy - Intrepid) fingerprinter authentication
