Public bug reported: Binary package hint: libplasma2
I'm using kubuntu intrepid with KDE 4.1.2 I tried importing photos from two canon cameras (Pwoershot S1); however they were not detected by the new device notifier. I was able to import the photos easily using dolphin or F-Spot (presumably digikam would also work but that somehow got uninstalled when I upgraded from Hardy remix to intrepid). However, it would be better for a newcomer if it was more obvious how to access the camera (a popup saying open camera in Dolphin would be great), and secondly once I had mounted the volume, there was no obvious way to unmount it in KDE: in the end, I used nautilus. ** Affects: kdebase-workspace (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- [Intrepid] Kubuntu: New device notifier does not recognise digital camera https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/282556 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
