Look at the code of the jamendo plugin, what does it need?
It needs:
1) an option to change the path where the xml file will be cached;
2) an option to let the user decide when to update the xml or if set to auto
with which frequence;
3) an option to switch torrent on and
well even there is a better ram using, still jamendo doesnt fetch up the
artist list, and after some 10 minutes my rhythmbox just freeze
did someone else has that problem too ?

for myself, i must say that on Jaunty 32bit, jamendo is not using a lot
of ram, thanks to those updtares, but after 10 min waiting can't seem to
get the artist list of jamendo...

I confirm this bug for Jaunty, as bug #376214 (that I just filed) has been
flagged as duplicate of this bug.
The difference is I can see the songs perfectly, the problem is just that the
memory RAM is full.

ok with that command, that runs, my memory climbs (i think its the
program taking memory...) then i click jamendo, memory still filling
almost to 90%... this time it took a bit of time, OMG
