wvdial on /dev/ttyUSB0 works fine, first time. NetworkManager needs
multiple tries before it works. If I've tried NetworkManager, I have to
unplug/replug the modem before wvdial will work again. /dev/ttyUSB0
stops echoing AT/OK.
No error, no crash.

Upon plugging in, two dialogs appear to ask me about preset settings. I close
one then i choose Poland-Play Online.

connecting. My modem is a E226.

note that that package has a regression (bug 346835), so you will
probably want to wait till I uploaded the fix for that.

Same problem here since Alpha 6, my modem is huawey E172.
Network-manager duplicates the configuration wizard and the connections are
also displayed in duplicate, also the name of the connection is very long.
You can see that in the attached pic.
Sometimes I have to reconfigure all again so that
same problem occur in Kubuntu 9.04 Alpha 6

In Intrepid there were missing 2 country names (Georgia and Luxembourg).
In Jaunty there are 104 of 113 missing.
I think it can be considered as a regression.

Had the same problem, but just did an upgrade and now it only appears once in
network manager.
However, connecting is actually broken.
dmesg when plugging in:
[ 272.152132] usb 2-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 2
[ 272.306448] usb 2-1: configuration #1 chosen from 1
same problem here, appears twice and connecting doesn't work.
(I'm on amd64)
