Had the same problem in one install and no problem in another install,
dont know why yet, maybe i didn't had some package installed before
maybe build-essential.
Fix:
Inside of qtcreator
Open your project
go to Projects (fourth tab on the left)
click on Run Settings
In my case the problem was
For me this doesn't occur when using Nokia's installer, but it does
occur when using the qt-creator package.
Upon attempting to run an application from within Qt Creator, an xterm
window appears with /bin/sh: permission denied.

I can confirm this bug.
It builds fine but when it tries to run it gives the /bin/sh: permission
denied.
From the terminal it runs as expected.
