Tested on 9.10 where it is no longer an issue. The driver was installed
by using jockey-gtk to activate Broadcom STA wireless drivers which I
believe is the bcmwl-kernel-source package.

This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in
it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try
with the latest Karmic 9.10 release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images are
available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/ .
