Public bug reported: Configuration: Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty SD Card -> /dev/sdb1 -> /boot Hard Drive -> /dev/sda1 -> Encrypted Volume Encrypted Volume -> /dev/mapper/pri-root -> Ext4 Filesystem Ext4 -> /
Problem Description: During boot fsck fails to identify the /boot partition. Dropped into maintenance with option to fix or Control-D to continue boot. It does appear that the /boot partition is unmounted after passphrase verfication is complete so perhaps something is stomping on the other...? More annoying than anything... system does boot once Control-D is pressed. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: boot fsck init -- Boot issue - Jaunty Beta Test: fsck fails check on /boot partition located on SD card booting full disk encrypted notebook https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/359089 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
