After further research - the device was recognized, and even worked
(somewhat) in cheese. The problem was that the device uses a PJPG
palette that is not recognized by most programs. However, that palette
recognition issue does not relate to this bug. My apologies.

It Worked :)
Just a thing that i noted on another wabcam, a usb not enough bandwidth
have been detected error -28 showed up, but with this webcam, it worked
at all. Its a little sluggish , but works :) same behavior as Fedora
11 beta

Hi alexhguerra,
Unfortunately the kernel is currently frozen for the upcoming Jaunty
release at the end of the week. However, I think this should indeed
qualify for a stable release update to Jaunty. I'm pasting the upstream
