Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: screen-profiles

GNU screen normally allows a user to specify their configuration file
via the $SCREENRC environment variable. If this is not set,
$HOME/.screenrc is used.

The screen-profiles packages installs (via a redirect) a wrapper script.
Unfortunately it both ignores $SCREENRC and forces the configuration
file to be $HOME/.screenrc.

A workaround if anyone encounters this problem is to uninstall the
screen-profiles package; it is recommended by the screen package, not
required.

A patch which fixes the problem in screen-profiles is attached.
