Public bug reported:

Hi All,

Not positive that this is a bug or was planned but either way I feel
like it should be fixed.

When you hide a row and then sort, the way that the sort/hide works is
that the same row numbers are hidden and it doesn't follow the "values"
which were hidden. This is to say that if I hide rows 5-10 and there are
a bunch of values in there, most likely I am trying to hide those
values, I don't care what row numbers are hidden, as long as those
values are hidden. When you sort the new values which would be in the
row numbers are hidden and the values which you originally hide become
visible (assuming of course that they are moved to a row number which
you did not hide).

I think that the main thing is that when people hide rows they are
hiding values, so regardless of if they resort the sheet they'll most
likely want those values to be hidden, so if prior to sort row 5 is
hidden and after sort row 200 needs to be hidden to hide the values,
that's not a big deal and is probably preferred by anyone trying to use
the hide function.

Thank you much for the hard work
