Public bug reported:
When i tried to install build-essential form UBUNTU 8.10 cd it was not mounted
to /media/cdrom. Rather it was mounted to /media/Ubuntu 8.10 creating another
folder in the /media. I had to write command in the tarminal to mount it in
/media/cdrom. Why did it happened? Somebody please help me find the problem.
This kind of odd things really disappoints new user.
Note: I use a LITEON dvd writer and i'm using ubuntu installed inside windows
XP.
