Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-ati

I have a ATI Radeon Mobility M7 LW [Radeon Mobility 7500] graphics card,
running Ubuntu 9.04. When running 3D applications, the display is
rendered even when it is below another window. This causes the window in
front to be covered by the 3D application. 3D applications I've tried
which causes this includes glxgears and googleearth.

The only way for the 3D graphics not to be rendered on top of another
window is to minimize it before changing focus to another application.

I couldn't use ubuntu-bug to report because I am behind a firewall and
apport doesn't support proxy servers.

** Affects: xserver-xorg-video-ati (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
