Public bug reported: Binary package hint: pulseaudio Distribution: Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic
Often pulseaudio process takes all available processor resources, slowing down computer. I can't understand reason, may be it hangs, because of pidgin sounds, or firefox flashplugin, or gstreamer, or exaile. No matter. In result it stops playing any sounds and takes all available resources in one of processor cores. The only way - is to instantly kill pulseaudio process, then it restarts. How can I track, what happening? How can I help to find this bug? ** Affects: pulseaudio (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Description changed: Binary package hint: pulseaudio + Distribution: Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Often pulseaudio process takes all available processor resources, slowing down computer.
