When I restart the whole system 2 or 3 times I get the normal condition back and the performance and cpu issue is gone. I tried lsmod and modprobe in both situations (performance is horribly bad as I am wirting...) both results in tho...@thomas-desktop:~$ lsmod | grep drm drm

The bad performance is caused by lack of direct rendering: (EE) intel(0): [drm] Failed to open DRM device for : No such file or directory (EE) intel(0): Failed to become DRM master. Does this command show the drm module loaded?: lsmod | grep drm If it doesn't return anything, what happens when
