I'm closing this bug then, I remember having some troubles with the
touchpad back then, and I've to configure it manually in xorg.conf, but
now works automagically. If by any chance you experience this problem
again, feel free to re-open this bug.

Same issue with Toshiba A30-141
Tested on Dapper and Edgy beta 2 both don't detect the Alps touchpad. It looks
like it is kernel bug becouse /proc/bus/input/device doesn't show the touchpad.
I compiled vanilla kernel and touchpad works, it works on other debian kernel
too.
