I installed 10.04 32 bit on my nx6125 and run into the same or similar
issue with kernel 2.6.32-22. I found a workaround for getting
suspend/resume to work at

1) Disabling KMS for radeon with radeon.modeset=0
2) Suspend with pm-suspend

This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it
recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try with the
latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images are available from
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/ .

I had to sell the machine because of this bug, it was too annoying to
live with.

Thanks for the suggestion, I will try it!
By the way, i am affected by bug #484937 too , just like you, so it seem to me
that the root of the two bugs is the same thing, something that affects all
nx6125 machines.

I see you are using BIOS version F.11, so was I. BIOS versions F.11 and
earlier cause Vista and Win 7 to fail on resume, so I though that there
may be a chance that a BIOS upgrade would fix the problem on Ubuntu
9.10. I upgraded to version F.13, but the problem still persists.
