This bug seems to have regressed into Ubuntu 10.04 LTS on
2.6.32-22-generic.
Suspend is not working from the gnome Suspend menu option. I also tried
the /etc/acpi/sleep.sh script from the command line. In either case,

Hi Martin, et. al.,
Hibernate doesn't work on my Dell D610. It wakes up before it
hibernates. Here is the kern log.

Hibernation is working on my D610 in Karmic, so I'm changing this to Fix
Released for linux and acpi-support.

linux-source-2.6.22 kernel task. It would be helpful if you could test the

I'm also using a Dell Latitude D610. Neither standby nor hibernate work

I too have a Dell Latitude D610, using Gutsy 7.10. When I close the lid
to hibernate it gets stuck, my only way out is to turn the machine off
completely then back on.
