9.04 to 9.10. No reformatting etc.

Some weeks ago, I deactivated the 3D effects of Gnome (switched from
normal to no effects), which deactivates compiz. Since then, the

that as soon as the laptop returns from StandBy, the clock in the panel
still works and Skype

1. Switch off wifi and Bluetooth using hardware switch.
2. Start up ubuntu one from the menu (Applications Internet Ubuntu One).
3. After the exclaimation mark comes up in the panel icon then start wifi and
BT using hardware switch.
4. After
I haven't a clue as to why this works, but Kaizer's fix did it for me.
After doing what Kaizer did, I have yet to have it fail to disconnect on boot,

Thanks!

My bug was also marked a duplicate, but my symptoms are only similar. I don't
use KDE, so that could be part of the problem, but when I would manually
connect, as automatic doesn't work for me, then manually disconnect it would
crash on me.
I'd upload the crash files collected by Apport
Hi,
The bug I have (had) is marked as duplicate of this one. So here is the
workaround I am currently using:
I disabled automatic ubuntuone connexion at startup.
What append is that I have to manually reconnect after a sleep mode and I have
to reenter the password for keyring - gnome password
hi,
i don't know myself how to automate your workaround.

started a new lifecycle with ubuntu one. i don't risk using ubuntu one
productively, but i copy backup files there; for now, it seems to work.
