Well am sure the Firefox community is working hard to fix this issue for this particular version. The temporary solution is to kill the process once and restart the Firefox version 3.5.7 . This will help you temporarily. It is not a security issue just a minor bug after you have installed a Add on

I only have this bug on my i386 ubuntu 9.10 install not the 64bit ubuntu 9.10 install. You click the restart button firefox dies but doesn't restart and the ad-ons I have tried don't enabled and then restart firefox button shows up again about 3sec after the browser starts up when you start the
