Workaround for users:
$ sudo apt-get source msmtp
$ cd msmtp-1.4.17
$ sudo apt-get build-dep msmtp
$ vi debian/control # remove gnome-keyring-manager dependency and trailing
comma on the previous line
$ sudo apt-get install devscripts
$ dch -i # put in a random comment to prevent the package to
I've also was affected by this bug.
I want to use msmtp as MTA for evolution, but can't install it...
What should I do next:
- compile from source (from Debian repo)?
- try to install Debian binary?
- wait for a fix in Ubuntu?
