Related to bug 459388. The combination of this bug and 459338
originally made me think that there was something really wrong with my
computer, which made it look like the filesystem check was constantly
restarting.

I have pretty much the same complaint. This used to looks pretty clean
in prior versions, but it looks ugly and cluttered now.
