At the Gnome Desktop
o Press the keys [Alt] + [F2]
o Typing the following and press the key [Enter]
gnome-terminal

In the gnome-terminal
o Typing the following and press the key [Enter]
LANGUAGE=C gksu /usr/sbin/synaptic

At the Password mask
o Typing in my password and press the key [Enter]

In Synaptic
o Click on the package list and typing the following
cdrecord
o Double-click on the list item "cdrecord"

/!\ Now the following error message is displayed:

Could not mark all packages for installation or upgrade

The following packages have unresolvable dependencies. Make sure that
all required repositories are added and enabled in the preferences.

cdrecord:

Package cdrecord has no available version, but exists in the database.
This typically means that the package was mentioned in a dependency and never
