Just checked: With 2x1 and 1x2 it's a little different but still there: With
2x1 there is horizontal wrap only, with 1x2 only vertical.
With anything = 2x2 you get horizontal+vertical wrap ( the full torus ).

Confirmed with karmic, seems to only happen if you use 2x2 viewports.
