Really I couldn't reproduce the case after the following updates. May be I
have some side-effects with the fact that my laptop is so old that some
hardware parts are not working properly in some cases.

I've marked it Fix released. Often something gets broken early on and we
fix it in updates. I suspect this is what happened here. If you encounter it
again, simply change the bug status back to new and put a comment to let me
know.

This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it
recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try with the
latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images are available from
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/ .
