this bug report some time ago and Ubuntu and cups have been updated since then.
Could you confirm that this is no longer a problem and that we can close the

Still issue in Oneiric. Discription of the bug is still the same but
there is sometimes useful workaround - power one printer before OS boot
up. This workaround work not everytime.
I was remove old useless logs. New information:
~$ lsusb | grep LaserJet
Bus 001 Device 006: ID 03f0:4117
ethayer, you must unsubscribe from bug 312775 to stop getting
notification. This you have to do by yourself. I cannot do it for you.
