I've tried recreating this bug with Oneiric and was unable to, given the
information you've provided. Please either
#3 - I don't see the 'update script' on the CD. I am using Ubuntu to
update Ubuntu. Wubi.exe doesn't work :)

Thank you for bringing this bug to our attention. However, a paper cut
should be a small usability issue, in the default Ubuntu install, that
affects many people and is quick and easy to fix. So this bug can't be
addressed as part of this project.
For further information about papercuts criteria,
I guess so. I downloaded the image from Ubuntu and burned a CD.
