Hi all, I am also experiencing this error. I am running firefox 3.5.6 from official ubuntu repositories (ubuntu 9.10 32-bit). Moreover extensions install correctly from downloaded xpi files and from sites different than addons.mozilla.org. Best regards, Víctor -- impossible to install
