Hi all,
I am also experiencing this error.
I am running firefox 3.5.6 from official ubuntu repositories (ubuntu
9.10 32-bit).
Moreover extensions install correctly from downloaded xpi files and from
sites different than addons.mozilla.org.

I can reproduce this problem always.

Simply open Tools/Add-ons in firefox, look for any add-on in Get Add-ons tab
and click in Add to Firefox.

first if it's reproducible : Yes each time can't get any addons
second what to do: normal steps as the other computer Go to options then
addons and select the addons from the addon's interface search or
directly from the mozilla website then wait
