Public bug reported: Binary package hint: software-center
If you install 9.10 with no internet connection then if you want to install a software from software-center you don't see any download button. At this point software-center should say to run "apt-get update" or similar. In fact after you run this command (or after pressed "verify" button in update-manager) the button appears. Tested with 9.10. ** Affects: software-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- software-center should display to launch "apt-get update" if the system is installed with not internet connection https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/500875 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
