I can reproduce this on Karmic. I would also like to see this implemented. Importance should probably be set to Wishlist. I'll download Lucid alpha 2 tomorrow and test this on that. Note that if this is implemented we will also need to implement a toggle button/s or drop-down list to allow the

Maybe an other solution would be the solution used by Google Earth : click with the mouse on a virtual joystick. The more you move the mouse pointer from the initial position, the quicker the document moves in the oposite way. When you come back to the initial position or release the mouse button,
