Closing this since it appears to be fixed. Feel free to reopen if the
bug reappears.
Just so you know, the chromium-browser package is the one you actually
want. The chromium package is a game, completely unrelated to the web
browser. Confusing, I know.

Same here: with the latest Chromium Daily, 1 in 8 (or more) pages start
to display, then quickly go to Aw, Snap.
Interestingly, it is certain pages that can reproduce the error all of
the time. Examples: slashdot.org, igoogle.com, weather.com,
wave.google.com
Other pages: mashable.com,
It's fixed in the lastest update!!!

I do believe that Minh Nghi may be right... I have just installed the
newest release via the Update Manager and blog.reddit.com loads without
issue (was previously an every time error for me).

I am getting the Aw, Snap! message regularly now. I pulled the most
recent updates today and ever since, about 1 in 8 pages starts to
display and then displays the Aw, Snap error... Firefox renders these
pages fine.
I am on Karmic running Chromium (4.0.302.0 (36505)) via the Daily PPA...
