I was looking through some old bugs and came across this one. Things
have changed since Ubuntu 6.06, and it's very easy to fix in later
releases. The Euro key should be on the '5' key, and can be typed with
'Alt Gr' (right Alt). The only remaining issue is that the default font
seems to be VGA (at

This bug still exists in Feisty. With the default locale settings (in my
case: it_IT.UTF-8) pressing in console ALTGR-E produces a symbol as
described in the first report (a circle with four lines streching out).
Additionally, the caps lock key doesn't seem to work: pressing it turns
on the caps
We are closing this bug report as it lacks the information, described in
the previous comments, we need to investigate the problem further.
However, please reopen it if you can give us the missing information and
don't hesitate to submit bug reports in the future.
