This is happening to me too, just starting today...
Every time I log back in or restart Firefox starts up with Ubuntu One in
the window asking me to log in but it already has my user name as logged
in at the top right. Also my Ubuntu One icon on the tool bar has a red
'x' for not being signed in
I'm having a slightly more extreme version of the problem: I have to re-
authenticate my computer every time I start it up or *wake it from
sleep*. I think it may have to do with the fact that I am behind a
firewall.

This affects me too.
The client disconnects for some reason.
When I reconnect the client I am asked to add my computer at the Ubuntuone web
page. When I view the machines connected to my account my computer is added
again but with a new (ID).

sorry for the trouble, we had some issues on one of the server
clusters that caused some intermittent login failures. it's fixed now,
and we're putting some additional monitoring in place to catch this
sort of thing before it inconveniences users in the future.

update! I noticed that it is working only if the browser with ubuntu one
site is open. if I close the browser or the tab with my ubuntu one
files, the ubuntuone-client shows icon with exclamation mark.

First, sorry you are having issues with your Ubuntu One install. I really
appreciate the updated information you provided. We can never have too much
info on these problems. I would like to look into this a little to better
determine the root cause.

1) Quit the Ubuntu One client
2) Open Applications-Accessories-Terminal, then run the command:
mv ~/.cache/ubuntuone/log ~/.cache/ubuntuone/log_old mkdir
