Thanks for reporting this bug and any supporting documentation. Since this bug has enough information provided for a developer to begin work, I'm going to mark it as confirmed and let them handle it from here. It may be possible to restore the user login by deleting the ~/.cache and ~/.config

Charlie, I deleted ~/.cache and everything in ~/.config/xfce4/ except for the /panels folder (didn't wanna have to set it up again if I didn't have to), and that seems to have solved the problem. Thanks! Also, previously I had tried logging in with either Xfce-session listing, and neither worked.
